RULES
INTERNAL REGULATIONS – IL VELIERO HOLIDAY PARK
RESERVATION
The reservation is personal, non-transferable and constitutes a free contract between the parties. The term “pitch” generally refers to: an equipped pitch (with private bathroom/kitchenette), a basic pitch (with access to shared bathrooms), or a bungalow pitch.
The reception staff reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to:
a) assign the accommodation units;
b) determine the suitability of guests for the offered tourist services.
ART. 1 – ACCESS TO THE CAMPSITE
a) Vehicles without the proper regulatory documents will not be admitted to the campsite;
b) Upon arrival, guests must show and hand over their identity documents for mandatory registration. In exchange, they will receive a car pass valid for parking inside the campsite, to be displayed clearly (one pass per pitch) and returned upon departure;
c) Guests must check the accuracy of their registration, report any discrepancies, and notify the Management of any changes such as the arrival or departure of people.
ART. 2 – CHOICE AND USE OF PITCHES / SERVICES
a) Pitches must be chosen following the instructions of the staff. Once assigned, it is strictly forbidden to move without authorization from Management;
b) It is forbidden to occupy empty pitches, even temporarily, with objects or vehicles of any kind, especially cars;
c) It is forbidden to park cars, even temporarily, on any pitch—whether personally reserved, reserved by others, or free;
d) Electrical connections on equipped or basic pitches are allowed with one socket only, using a C.E.I. compliant cable that must be elevated, visible, and inspectable. Electricity is supplied at 220 volts and 6 amperes (1320 watts). The Management declines all responsibility for damage caused by defective cables or equipment and reserves the right to charge guests for any resulting damage;
e) Each pitch may host only one camping unit and no more than 6 people;
f) Guests may select their pitch, provided they follow staff instructions;
g) It is forbidden to walk or drive through other guests’ pitches;
h) Bicycles are not allowed inside the toilet/shower buildings, swimming pool area, or entertainment zone;
i) Adults are responsible for the behaviour of their children, who must not disturb the peace or safety of other guests. Younger children must always be accompanied to the restaurant, pool, bathrooms, and play areas;
j) Guests are responsible for damages caused by minors, including to third parties;
k) Management reserves the right, in case of necessity or dispute, to move or remove any camping unit or accessory from a pitch or bungalow, even in the absence of the registered guest. Vehicles may be transferred to a storage area at the owner’s expense;
l) Only vehicles such as caravans, campers, maxi-caravans, etc. compliant with road regulations and with maximum dimensions of 2.55 m x 7.60 m (plus tow bar) may enter the campsite. A copy of third-party liability insurance (including fire coverage) must be provided with the reservation;
m) In June and September, pool opening hours may be reduced or suspended temporarily;
n) Management may change the assigned accommodation unit during the stay if necessary.
ART. 3 – LIABILITY WAIVER
a) At the end of the stay, the pitch must be vacated of all belongings and vehicles. The campsite does not accept storage of any kind and is not responsible for theft or damage to objects or vehicles;
b) Maintenance requests made after 20:00 during high season or after 17:00 during low season will be postponed to the following day.
ART. 4 – CAMPSITE VISITS
a) Visitors may enter only with Management’s authorization and must leave an identity document at reception. The visit is free if it lasts no more than 30 minutes; otherwise, a visitor fee will apply;
b) Visitors may not use internal parking, bathrooms, or showers unless authorized;
c) Visitors must wear a pass indicating arrival time and host name;
d) Minors are not allowed unless accompanied by a responsible adult;
e) Failure to provide documents or register constitutes a criminal offence.
ART. 5 – GUESTS AND VISITORS OF REGISTERED CLIENTS
a) The entrance of guests or visitors is allowed only with permission from the registered client, who is responsible for their behaviour;
b) Management reserves the right to deny access to anyone who may cause disturbance;
c) Visitors must pay the daily fee if staying longer than 2 hours and leave an identity document;
d) If undeclared visitors are found, they must immediately pay for their stay according to the price list;
e) Visitors must use the bathrooms respectfully;
f) Management reserves the right to take legal action according to Articles 614, 624, 633, and 637 of the Italian Criminal Code.
ART. 6 – VEHICLE MOVEMENT
a) Access barriers remain closed from 14:00 to 16:00 and from 24:00 to 08:00. In these periods, vehicle circulation is prohibited. Outside these times, vehicle access is limited to loading/unloading for a maximum of 20 minutes;
b) Barrier opening during restricted hours is allowed only in emergencies;
c) Cars and motorcycles must be parked in designated areas;
d) Vehicles must display the pass given at reception. Vehicles without a pass will not be admitted;
e) Vehicle owners are responsible for any damage caused to third parties;
f) A second vehicle is allowed only if space is available and at Management’s discretion;
g) Vehicles must drive slowly (walking speed, max 5–10 km/h). Motorcycles must be pushed.
ART. 7 – QUIET HOURS
a) Any noise disturbing guests’ rest is prohibited, especially during quiet hours (14:00–16:00 and 24:00–08:00). This includes loud conversations, shouting, radios or TVs at high volume;
b) Adults are responsible for ensuring their children’s behaviour does not disturb others.
ART. 8 – ANIMALS
a) Acceptance of dogs or other animals must be agreed with Management, with presentation of a valid health booklet;
b) Dogs must be kept on a leash and muzzled, and must be taken outside the campsite for their physiological needs;
c) Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets;
d) Animals are prohibited in the swimming pool area.
ART. 9 – LOST & FOUND AND LIABILITY
a) Lost items must be handed to reception for return to their rightful owner;
b) The campsite is supervised, but Management is not responsible for theft or damage;
c) The campsite is not responsible for damage to cars or motorcycles in the parking area;
d) Management is not responsible for damage caused by force majeure, natural disasters, plant diseases, epidemics, or causes not directly attributable to campsite staff;
e) The campsite is insured for civil liability toward third parties within the limits of the insurance policy.
ART. 10 – CASHIER HOURS AND PAYMENT TERMS
a) The cashier is open from 08:00 to 24:00. No transactions will be made outside these hours;
b) A 30% deposit is required upon booking; the balance must be paid upon arrival unless otherwise agreed in writing;
c) Stays are calculated per night. Check-out must be completed by 10:00; after this time, an additional night will be charged;
d) Seasonal or half-season stays must be paid according to the agreed schedule;
e) Management reserves the right to retain belongings (Art. 2760 of the Civil Code) in case of unpaid balances;
f) Guests who prepay the total stay and leave early will not be refunded.
ART. 11 – CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION POLICY
a) Cancellations or changes must be submitted in writing; verbal requests are not valid;
b) Confirmation of cancellation or modification will also be provided in writing by reception;
c) If guests fail to notify cancellation, arrive late, or depart early, the full amount of the reservation must still be paid;
d) Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances;
e) Reserved pitches or bungalows are held until 10:00 the day after the scheduled arrival. After this time, the reservation is considered cancelled and the deposit forfeited;
f) Any changes to credit card data, expiry dates, or contact information must be promptly communicated.
ART. 12 – PROHIBITIONS
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO:
a) Throw rubbish outside the designated containers (waste must be sorted and disposed of in the bins at the campsite entrance);
b) Dig holes, trenches, or place poles in the ground;
c) Fence off the pitch with cane screens or shade cloths;
d) Tie lateral shade cloths to neighbouring structures;
e) Install coverings over the pitch;
f) Light open fires, including barbecues;
g) Make structural modifications to the pitch;
h) Stretch cables across internal paths;
i) Damage vegetation (removing shrubs, cutting branches, hammering nails into trees);
j) Pour oils, fuels, hot liquids, salty liquids, or waste onto the ground;
k) Wash vehicles;
l) Wash dishes or laundry outside designated sinks;
m) Wash or wash oneself at potable water fountains;
n) Waste or misuse water;
o) Leave the pitch dirty upon departure;
p) Tamper with fire safety equipment or sanitary facilities;
q) Dispose of black water anywhere except the designated camper service area, under staff supervision;
r) Build pipes or connections that discharge into internal sewers or neighbouring land;
s) Attach any object (bikes, ropes, cords, etc.) to bathroom/kitchen block structures;
t) Install verandas, gazebos, umbrellas, or similar against caravans or mobile homes (only weights or stakes max 20 cm allowed);
u) Install 1/2 gazebo/umbrella on equipped or basic pitches with total size over 16 m²;
v) Install gazebos/umbrellas in bungalow gardens;
w) Cover pitches (bungalow, equipped, or basic) with waterproof sheets of any kind except permeable cloths under 18 m²;
x) Chain or attach objects (e.g., bicycles) to the tow bar of camping units.
ART. 13 – PRIVACY
a) Under Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code), Management cannot provide information about guests staying at the campsite;
b) Reception staff may no longer call guests by name over the loudspeaker; only pitch numbers will be used.
ART. 14 – EXPULSION
a) Staying in the campsite implies acceptance of these regulations, provided at booking and at check-in;
b) Failure to comply with any rule may lead to disciplinary action, including expulsion, at Management’s sole discretion;
c) Management reserves the right to modify or add rules at any time;
d) Complaints must be submitted to reception, which will do its best to resolve any issues encountered.
